Pietersen didn't lose sleep tracking IPL auction

Hi guys.Most of are aware of that the English captain has been bidded for the maximum amount of 1.34 million dollars.When asked about his luck to Peiterson he told that he was not keen on waiting for the IPl results the whole night.He said that it was really happy and he has never expected such an amount of money.He also told that he was much focussed on the Carribean series and not so so much exicted on the IPL news.Does Petersen desreves this much of amount.What ever it may be he is luck enough.Thanks for your time
